A tightness in your chest? A ball of tension in the pit of your stomach? Then this will be your gauge for the effectiveness of the tapping.

Next you will go through the VERBaliztion aspects of each of the flowers below and pick out the one that hits closest to your particular issue. For instance, if you find yourself blowing up at your spouse, children, co-workers and such for no apparent reason and can’t seem to pinpoint the cause, you may find Impatiens to be helpful with its wonderful VERBalization of "...I choose to be calm and serene within myself."

Taking this as our cue we can turn this into our statement as we tap the KC (side of hand, at the Karate Chop point) at the side of the left hand with the first two fingers of the right hand and repeat three times while continuing to tap, “Because I deeply and completely love myself I choose to be calm and serene within myself.” You may notice I didn’t use the exact VERBalization statement from the Impatiens section. There is nothing written in stone here. Feel free to play with the statements and words adding and modifying as you feel the need.

For the “round” of tapping it is unnecessary to repeat the whole statement, just a key word or two will suffice; as you tap on each point simply repeat, “calm” or “peace”, a single word that speaks most clearly to your individual situation. Tap on each point, repeating the word, as much as you like before moving on to the next point.

Begin with the inside of the left wrist, tapping repeatedly and saying out loud, “calm” or whatever you have decided on as your desired attitude.

Next is the “Collarbone hug”. Fold your hands across your chest and feel for the ending points of your collarbones where they meet your shoulders. Tap alternately on each point, first one side than the other, repeating your word the whole time.

When you are satisfied there you move on to the point at the top (or crown) of the head.

From here you tap the “under eye” point just below the right eye, continuing to verbalize your word.

You will finish off at the inside of the right wrist having begun at the left wrist. You can now see why I call this a “Round”.

Check that tension spot. Is there any relief? You may repeat this as often and as much as you like, until you get the desired results. If you find no relief at all you may be dealing with deeper issues that may require a more in-depth treatment using EFT or other flowers.

Happy tapping and good health.

Special gift for you

It seems to be taking me a bit longer to complete the book than I had anticipated, so I have decided to place a special edition of the research on my website. Just recently we held a two hour class for senior citizens at the park we are staying at. At the beginning of the class I have started having someone volunteer to come up that was in pain simply to demonstrate the fact that it really takes no knowledge at all to see results from tapping. I walk them through the tapping procedure with amazing results each time (95% results).

Our volunteer had some nerve pain in her left foot which started off at an 8 and after two times through she was down to a 3 (later in the class we asked her how she was doing and she said the pain was completely gone).

After the presentation we asked if anyone had any issues they would like to tap for. There was an 80 year old woman that was skeptical, even after seeing the first lady, but was willing to try it. She had been suffering from shoulder pain on the right side and was unable to raise her arm above shoulder level at all. The doctors couldn't explain it and wanted to perform surgery. We tapped through once (pain level of 8) and as I was about to ask her to gently raise her arm to where she experienced the pain before, she shot her arm straight up in the air above her head and started crying.

I have seen her several times since then and ask about her arm. Each time she smiles and raises her arm straight up in the air.

Nothing else works like this...nothing. Try it on everything.

Welcome to Tapping With Flowers

Introduction to my soon-to-be published book blending EFT and Bach healing herbs.

Taking your health in your own hands

I would like to introduce you to the most amazing DIY (Do It Yourself) Healing model you are likely to ever encounter. Nearly every person can do it, and absolutely every person can benefit from it.

The purpose of this book is to teach, empower and equip you to move into the most fulfilling future you can desire and imagine. We do this by teaching you simple skills for removing emotional and physical blockages through EFT. Then we take those skills and apply them to re-patterning character flaws (yes, we all have them) or deficiencies and learn how to ‘tap’ into the future we want to create.

Have you suffered from phobias , sexual abuse trauma , addictions , depression , obsessive/compulsive behavior , eating disorders , relationship issues , anger management , chemical sensitivities , pain management, poor self worth/self esteem , hit a wall in your sports performance or spiritual disconnection? This book will teach you how to effectively deal with and alleviate these issues, and many, many more.

EHT (Essence of Health Techniques) is the fruit of over 30 years of extensive research in the field of natural healing. As a young father in the early seventies I quickly became aware of the limitations of the allopathic health care system in keeping my family healthy. I ‘happened’ upon the classic Back to Eden by Jethro Kloss which fueled what would become a lifelong passion.

Over the years I have studied Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurvedic healing, the Eclectics, Homeopathy, nutrition, Reiki energy, and much more. As I studied it became very clear to me that, as useful and important as these tools are for health, true multifaceted health and healing is a very personal, vital and even spiritual activity that anyone can tap into (pun intended).

Our bodies, or more specifically the cells of our bodies, require very specific ‘stuff’ (not a technical term) for continued existence. The phrase “healthy cells = healthy you” is absolutely true. Our cells require proper absorption, assimilation and elimination for optimal function and health, and good nutrition in proper proportions from pure, natural and preferably organic sources go a long way to assuring a good start toward leading a disease free and healthy life. However, these cellular functions are outside our conscious control in exactly the same way as our heartbeat and metabolic functions are. We can regulate our food intake, stress levels, the toxicity of our environment (relationships, exposure to electro-pollution etc.), present belief patterns and exercise habits and still be attacked with fears, phobias, diseases, debilitating and disabling core belief patterns and health issues that will undermine even our most valiant efforts.

I believe you may find the key to your health and wellbeing in this little book. We don’t claim to treat any of the myriads of named diseases, even though many people have found relief and recovery after the medical profession had given up on them by simply using EFT and the Bach Flower Therapies on which our innovative technique is based.

The practice of either of these systems is based in simplicity itself:

With EFT you merely name the issue you are dealing with, gauge your level of discomfort, place the issue in the blank spot in the affirmation, tap and talk and reap the relief. (It may be a bit more involved than that in some cases but, believe me I have seen almost miraculous results from this simple procedure).

With Bach Flower Therapy you find your particular distress on the list of Bach’s 7 emotional groups, choose the flower that most accurately describes what you are presently experiencing and take that flower essence. Simplicity itself; and your healing is left exactly where it should be; completely in your hands.

With EHT we have drawn the two modalities together and are able to teach you how to tap for the flower essences thereby alleviating the need and expense of the physical flower essences and greatly expanding the breadth and depth of effective self-care.

• Using EFT you will learn how to ‘tap’ for any and all pains, fears, deep-set anxieties, depressions and phobias (and much more).
• Through the flower essences you will learn to recognize personal character flaws and weaknesses that have held you back from fulfillment and allowed illness to manifest in your life. Then, you tap and talk yourself to freedom.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) as created by Gary Craig is based on the premise,

“The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system.”

And because our physical pains and discomforts are so obviously connected with our emotions the following statement has also proven to be true,

“Our unresolved negative emotions are major contributors to most physical pains and diseases.”

Edward Bach, the father of flower essence therapies, had this to say about disease in Ye Suffer From Yourselves,

“Disease of the body, as we know it, is a result, an end product, a final stage of something much deeper. Disease originates above the physical plane, nearer to the mental. It is entirely the result of a conflict between our spiritual and mortal selves. So long as these two are in harmony, we are in perfect health: but when there is discord, there follows what we know as disease.

Disease is solely and purely corrective: it is neither vindictive nor cruel: but it is the means adopted by our own Souls to point out to us our faults: to prevent our making greater errors: to hinder us from doing more harm: and to bring us back to that path of Truth and Light from which we should never have strayed.

Disease is, in reality, for our good, and is beneficent, though we should avoid it if we had but the correct understanding, combined with the desire to do right.”

Dr. Bach asserted that harmful emotions are the main cause of disease, and he classified emotions into seven principal categories, which will be dealt with further in the book. These categories were then divided further into 38 negative feelings, each of which were associated with a particular therapeutic plant which he called the “healing herbs”.

“Take no notice of the disease, think only of the outlook on life of the one in distress.

“Thirty-eight different states are simply described: and there should be no difficulty either for oneself, or for another, to find that state or a mixture of states which are present, and so to be able to give the required remedies to effect a cure.” – Dr. Bach

It occurred to me in the midst of my studies that there could be a possible correlation between the findings of Gary Craig and Edward Bach and their respective conclusions. I found I could ‘muscle test’ (reflexology) for the perfect flower, combine the tapping points of EFT with the body mapping points of that particular flower, add in a positive affirmation or two and retest myself after getting results. Invariably I found the outcome was the same as actually taking the flower remedy itself.
In the long run I am convinced this book will save you and the friends you test these concepts on a lot of money. But more importantly, you will see results much more quickly by tapping with the flowers than you are likely to by taking the drops. Test it out for yourself.

I hope the reading and use of this book is as rewarding for you as it has been for me in researching and writing.

The Need for a New Medicine by Julian Barnard

“What we need is a new medicine. Not a wonder drug, not a surgical implant nor a form of synthetic ego support. We need something that will help us wake up to see what is going on, so that we may see life for what it is. We need to regain our sense of discrimination so that we
may once again recognise what is harmful to life and what is of benefit to life. We need something that will help us to understand what we are so that we may simply live. We need something that Is not dependent upon the specialist and fragmenting forces of intellectualism,
something that works with life as we know it. Something is needed that will help us work with change for it is our inability to go with change that drives us away from life. We need something that will work with the life force within us to bring us to a healthy and happy living. Something that will work in harmony with nature and bring healing to the planet”.

Our disclaimer

The information in this book is provided with the understanding that the author is not engaged in rendering medical advice. If medical consultation or other expert guidance is required, the services of a competent professional should be sought. The purpose and scope of this book are purely informational. The author and publisher assume no responsibility for the consequences of anyone believing it is their God given right to take their health into their own hands by acting in accordance with this information.

Furthermore, I am aware I am likely to rile the ire of many purists in the Bach school of health that take exception to some of my findings and for this I am deeply sorry. I would ask that you believe I have the most profound respect and love for Dr. Bach and his findings and do believe he would have applauded my efforts.
